Eligibility criteria: 


Age limit :  18-25 years

Age relaxation :

(a) SC/ST - 5 years
(b) OBC - 3 years

(c) Serving Assam Rifles personnel (Gen/OBC) - Upto 40 years of age.

(d) Serving Assam Rifles personnel (SC/ST) - Upto 45 years of age.
(e) Ex-Servicemen (UR) - 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the date of reckoning.
(f) Ex-Servicemen (OBC) - 6 years (3+3) years after deduction of the military
service rendered from the actual age as on the date of reckoning,
(g) Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST) – 8 years (3+5) years after deduction of the military
service rendered from the actual age as on the date of reckoning.


Education qualification : 


• Bridge & Road. (Both Male & Female candidates) : Matric or equivalent from a recognised Board or University & Diploma in civil engineering from a recognised institution for Bridge and Road, Age Limit - 18-23 Years.


• Clerk. (Both Male & Female candidates) : Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board/University or equivalent. & Skill Test Norms on Computer English typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minute on computer
OR Hindi typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer (Time
allowed-10 minutes). Age Limit - 18-25 Years.

• Personal Assistant. (Both Male & Female candidates) : Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board or University or equivalent & Skill Test Norms on Computer - (a) Dictation. 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute.
(b) Transcription Time. 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer, Age Limit 18-25 Years.

• Electrical Fitter Signal. (For Male candidates only) : Education Qualification - 10th class pass with Science, Math and English as subjects from a recognised Board., Age Limit - 18-23 Years.

• Lineman Field. (For Male candidates only) : 10 th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial Training Institute
certificate in Electrician trade from a recognised Institute. Age Limit - 18-23 Years.

• Engineer Equipment Mechanic. (For Male candidates only) : 10 th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial
Training Institute certificate in Engineer Equipment Mechanic trade from a recognised Institute. Age Limit - 18-23 years.


• Electrician Mechanic Vehicle. (For Male candidates only) : 10th class pass from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized Institute. Age Limit - 18-23 years.


•Instrument Repairer/Mechanic. (For Male candidates only) : 10+2 pass from recognised Board or University Industrial Training Institute certificate in instrumentation from a recognised Institute. Age Limit - 18-23 Years.

• Vehicle Mechanic (For Male candidates only) : Matriculation with English, Mathematics and Science and Diploma/Industrial Training Institute certificate from recognised institution, Age Limit- 18-23 Years.


• Upholster (For Male candidates only): 10th pass and possess Industrial Training Institute certificate in the grade. Age Limit - 18-23 Years.


• Electrician (For Male candidates only) : 10th pass and possess Industrial Training Institute certificate in the grade. Age Limit - 18-23 Years.


• Plumber (For Male candidates only) : 10th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Plumber trade from a recognised Institute. Age Limit - 18-23 Years.

 

•Surveyor (For Male candidates only) : 10th class pass from a recognised Board and Industrial Training Institute certificate in Surveyor trade from a recognised Institute. Age Limit - 20-28 Years.


• Pharmacist (Both Male & Female candidates) : 10+2 or equivalent & Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy from any recognized Institution of the Central or a State Government for which the period of training in two years followed by an internship of which the practical training shall not be less than five hundred hours spread over a period of not less than three months: provided that not less than two hundred and fifty hours are devoted to actual dispensing of prescriptions; (c) Possessing the qualifications under Section 31 and 32 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 and registered under Section 33 of the said Act. Age Limit - 20-25 Years.


• X-Ray Assistant (For Male candidates only) : 10+2 pass with diploma in Radiology from a recognised Board or University. Age Limit - 18-23 Years.

 

• Veterinary Field Assistant (For Male candidates only) : 10+2 pass with two years diploma certificate in veterinary science from recognized University / Institute with one year experience in Veterinary field. Age Limit - 21-23 Years.


• Female Safai (For Female candidates only) :  10th class passed from a recognised Board. Age Limit - 18-25 Years.


• Barber (For Male candidates only) : 10th class pass from a recognised Board. Age Limit - 18-23 Years.


•Cook (For Male candidates only) : 10th class pass from a recognised Board. Age Limit - 18-23 Years.


• Masalchi (For Male candidates only) : 10th class pass from a recognised Board. Age Limit - 18-23 Years.


• Male Safai (For Male candidates only) : 10th class pass from a recognised Board. Age Limit - 18-23 Years.


Pay scale :

Pay scale and other allowances will be applicable/admissible as per the pay scale applicable to the Assam Rifles Personnel.

Application Fee : 

• Group B posts : Rs. 200- (Rupees two hundred only) 

• Group C posts : Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).

NO Fee is charged from candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Scheduled

Tribes, Female and Ex-servicemen candidates.

How to Apply for Assam Rifles Recruitment 2021 :


To apply, fill up the online application by clicking on "ONLINE APPLICATION" option given below in the important web links section. The candidates will fill the requisite details as prescribed in the application form. After the application has been filled up, the candidates has the option to make online payment via link given for online payment or alternatively the payment can be made at SBI Bank Counters as well. In both options the candidate will have to upload copy of the challan or receipt online
Candidates while reporting for Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test
(PET) will produce original copy of payment receipt / challan for official records. In
case of non submission of receipt/challan the application may be rejected. The
candidates will also produce the printed copy of online Application Form duly
completed and a copy of notification downloaded from the Assam Rifles website,
failing which the candidature of the applicants may be rejected. The online applications portal will be functioning from the day of publications of the advertisement to the last date of receipt of the applications.
