RECRUITMENT FOR 320 (MALE & TRANSGEDER- 314 & Female - 6 POSTS OF SUB-INSPECTORS (AB) FOR NEWLY CREATED ASSAM POLICE COMMANDO BATTALIONS 

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of 320 existing vacancies in the rank of Sub-Inspector of Police (AB) for newly created Assam Commando Battalions.  SCALE OF PAY : 

Scale of Pay : 14000-60500 

Grade pay :  Rs. 8700/-

 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 

a) Nationality- Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam.

b) Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in

Assam.

c) Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : 

The candidate must be graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from recognised college/Institution affiliated to a recognised University

 AGE: (as on 1st January of 2021)

20 to 24 years  (i.e. the candidate must be born on before 01.01.2001 and after on  01.01.1997).

 AGE RELAXATIONS : 

• SC/ST(P)/ST(H)  : 5 years 

• OBC/MOBC : 3 years 

• Sports Person : Additional 3 years

 PHYSICALSTANDARDS : 

 MEDICAL STANDARDS : 

Candidates must not have knocked knee, flat foot or squint eyes, and colour blindness Varicose vein shall be considered as disqualification. They must be in good mental and bodily health. They must be free from any physical deformities and free from diseases such as diabetes, hernia, piles, respiratory diseases or any other ailment that is is likely to interfere with the with the efficient performance of duties. The distant vision should be 6/6 for at least one eye and notpoorerthan6/9fortheother without correction .Near vision should be normal.

c) Passed certificate and Market of graduation (BA, BSc,  B.com or equivalent examination.)

d) Certificate Of Proof Of Age (Admit Card Of HSLC or Equivalent Examination)

e) Admit card of HSLC or equivalent examination for proof of Age.

f) Employment Exchange registration number.

g) Certificate of Sports person to avail 5% reservation of posts & age relaxation 

h) Caste Certificate from the Competent Authority. 

i) Permanent Residential Certificate.

j) Transgender Certificate issued by Competent Authority, if any.

k) EWS certificate from Competent Authority, if any.

HOW TO APPLY:

Candidates must follow the following steps during submission of online application :

• Register in the Portal (www.slprbassam.in) using valid mobile number.
(Note: Candidates are advised to keep the mobile number unchanged until the
recruitment process is over)
• After successful registration candidates will get an Assam Police Recruitment ID. Candidates will have to apply for any posts advertised through SLPRB during the
year 2021-22 by logging in with this ID.
• Candidates will register their profile in the application portal once for all. However,
the candidature of those candidates will be cancelled who generate multiple
recruitment ID.
